Join Alt-Country songwriter Riley Catherall as he launches his debut-record “When I Go” at The Curtin with special Guest Jess DeLuca

After releasing singles “Vacant Lot”, “Leave Me Out To Dry” and most recently, “Mother Please”, Melbourne-based songwriter Riley Catherall finally announced the release of his highly anticipated debut album “When I Go”. An amalgamation of wandering thoughts on love, losing love and leaving, Catherall’s first full length record represents a particular period in both the songwriter’s personal life and his writing.

An arresting lyricist and patient storyteller, Riley is regarded as one of the country’s most promising songwriters. He often resides in shared sentences with some of the greats, with Ear To The Ground Music stating: “Catherall’s phrasing and overall writing reminds me of an American icon in Jason Isbell. It’s not every day I can make that kind of comparison. I am already looking forward to hearing more from Catherall. His poetic Americana lyricism is a rare treat in the music scene today.”
